Moisturize this Holiday through Hyalure

You can really tell how our climate got colder when BER months began. What more to expect this Christmas break? Our body will surely be covered with layers of clothing and our skin will be dry like a dead leaf. Could it get any worse? Our lips start to crack and peel! So be sure to carry your trusty lip balm with you! Now is the perfect time to stock up with moisturizer and body cleanser! Hyalure sent us two products that could solve the dryness dilemma brought by the sweater weather! Let's test out the Light Non-Greasy Moisturizing Lotion and the Creamy Foaming Body Wash! :D

Hyalure Dermaformulated's Light Non-Greasy Moisturizing Lotion is formulated by a dermatologist and contains hyaluronic acid, a known moisturizing agent that helps hydrate the skin, reduces skin irritation caused by environmental pollutants and forms a protective film on the surface of the skin thus preventing moisture loss. Majority of hyaluronic acid is found in the skin, it is vital in maintaining the skin's natural moisture giving a velvety soft feel and smooth texture on the skin. Helps relieve dry, dehydrated and rough skin. Ideal for hot-humid environment because it's non-greasy. Paraben and Lanolin free.
The formula of the moisturizer is quite thick, but it becomes smooth and thin once applied. It has a water-like texture which proved that the lotion is non-greasy. Don't be confused, formula and texture are two different things! It was stated in the packaging that it has a mild sparkling scent. It smells like a floral or feminine scent. No need to worry because you will only smell it if you put the product near to your nose. You only need a measly amount of it because a little goes a long way. Kiwi has been living with skin asthma and that prompted his very dry and sensitive skin. Dry patches or peeling of skin is always a problem during the cold season. Flaking skin patches are apparent and the moisturizer did a great job of hiding it. Overall, the product is more ideal to people with normal to dry skin. If you have an extremely dry skin, you need a better and deeper moisturizing product to use.

Hyalure Dermaformulated's Creamy Foaming Body Wash is formulated by a dermatologist and contains hyaluronic acid, a known moisturizing agent that helps hydrate the skin, reduces skin irritation caused by environmental pollutants and forms a protective film on the surface of the skin thus preventing moisture loss. Majority of hyaluronic acid is found in the skin, it is vital in maintaining the skin's natural moisture giving a velvety soft feel and smooth texture on the skin. Sulfate, CDEA, Paraben and soap free.
The body wash has a more liquid-like formula. It can slide off your hands easily ergo be careful with pouring the product out. This is something you want to apply before going to bed. Cleaning and moisturizing your skin can do wonder to your skin. You will see or feel the result on the next day! Apply the body wash to dry areas such as your elbows, knees and whatnot. You can also use it to moisturize your dry lips. Just like the moisturizer, it also has that floral or feminine scent to it. The scent will not be an issue because you will rinse the body wash anyway. Hyalure products are available in Mercury Drugstore. They also accept online shopping services through their facebook page! Don't be shy to try out Hyalure! Bring out the best version of you by staying moisturized this holiday break! :D

November Birthdays and Happy Thursday

This is a birthday greeting post for our November babies! November is Clarence's birthday month and due to schedule conflicts, we weren't able to converge and celebrate with him. Thanks to technology or social networking sites. You won't miss greeting your friends or family during their special day! It's also the birthday month of Charlotte, Clarence's little sister! They share the same house, parents and birth month! Few more similarities then they would be considered as twins! They would prolly despise this idea! Haha!  Anyways, happy birthday Clarence and Charlotte! :D

It's also Angelique's birthday this month! She invited us to the Beach and celebrate with her! Nope, don't take the Beach literally! It's the Beach House in Taft! It's a place where you party during Thursday! An open place where you can chill and chat with your friends whilst drinking. We only drank a bottle of apple juice with 3% alcohol so do not worry! The area was congested therefore we had no choice but to stay outside. Ambiance was better because of fresh air!
There were chill music playing and people were singing to it. We met a bunch of new people because the birthday girl introduced us to her college friends! They were friendly and they tried to talk to us in spite of the loud music. Perhaps party people are more sociable? We pretty much enjoyed the night through chatting! And we didn't stayed all night because we have a curfew just like Cinderella. Thanks for the awesome night Angelique! Happy birthday! :D

How to Clean Makeup Brushes

So here's an easy tutorial on how to deeply clean your makeup brushes! You only need three ingredients that you can find in your kitchen or bathroom! Firstly, you need a hand washing soap or you can use a dish washing soap. Use a liquid soap, not the solid one. You also need extra virgin olive oil. This one cleans your brushes thoroughly and it also destroy makeup that sticks in your brushes. And the last thing you need is clean water. If you're wondering why we're sharing this, it's because Halloween just passed and all our brushes are filthy! Might as well share how we do it! ;)

Step 1: Add about a spoon of extra virgin olive oil inside the container of water.

Step 2: It's time to add some soap in the mixture. You only need a spoon as well.

Step 3: Mix everything so that the oil and soap wouldn't be just separated with the mixture.

Step 4: Get ready to soak your brushes inside the container and rub it in a circular motion.

You can actually clean several brushes in one mixture. It depends on how dirty your brushes are.

Look at this dirty brush that has lipstick all over its bristles! It's too disgusting! Good thing it was able to remove all the sticky makeup. You can even see the measly pieces of makeup in the water! Good bye makeup residues!

If you really want to thoroughly clean all your brushes. Make your last mixture and clean everything again. You can also use your hands to make sure its 100% clean! Just place your hands below the pouring water from the sink. Then clean your brushes by moving it in a circular motion on your palm. This will be the final touches or cleaning.

Step 5: Rinse your brushes with clean water. Do some circular motion again to remove the soap.

Step 6: Place your brushes in a dry towel, make sure the bristles are facing downwards.
The gravity will pull the water out of your brushes which will make it easier to dry. And the adhesive that attaches the brush holder and the bristles will not be loosen by the water. So this tip concludes this tutorial. That's how we basically do it, but if you want an even more simpler brush cleaner, you can remove the extra virgin olive oil. You can also use Johnson's baby shampoo to clean your brushes. You can use it if your brushes don't get too filthy like ours. You can also use a fan or blower if you want to dry it faster! Hahaha! Thank you for reading and hope you learned something!

Sushi Yum Again

Yes, Sushi Yum again even after several times already! Initially, we wanted to try the dimsum all-you-can promo of Dimsum Break but it was already late plus the resto is located in Recto. Therefore we decided to go for a nearer and safer place. First thing we thought of was Masuki, a place known for noodles. We've already blogged about Sushi Yum before that's why we wanted to try something new and we were trying to avoid Sushi Yum. But we ended up dining in our trusty Japanese resto since our craving was calling us. In order to share something new to you guys, we ordered something we haven't tried before from the menu! Hoping that we were able to pick the delicious dishes! xD

What to do while waiting? Play Monopoly Deal! We're playing the Millionaire edition which we talked about here! :)

Garlic Karaage (Chicken Meat)
Do you know KFC flavor shots meal? The same but this one has more spices! Also has harder chicken meat! :)

Milkfish Don (Milkfish in Teriyaki Sauce)
Almost similar with the Breaded Fish Fillet but this has more crisp and flavor to offer. Less serving though! xD

Katsudon (Breaded Pork)
One of our favorites which we have tried for many times already! The egg and sauce made it more delectable! :3

Ramen (Japanese noodles with vegetables and seafood)
One worthy meal for having many mix-ins like veggies, shrimp and fish balls! The only con was the salty soup!

Tonkatsu Curry (Pork cutlet with Japanese curry mix)
Just your typical curry, nothing so fancy! This meal is a bit heavy so make sure you have space if you're getting this!

Breaded Fish Fillet
Favorite comfort food of Bianca! This is the only thing she orders in Sushi Yum! No need to double think! xD
Everything we ordered was only 135php each except for the ramen! As usual, the rice never disappoints us! Always soft and warm for consumption! For sure most of us have received an awful hard rice by other restaurants before. They need to stop serving rice that was already cooked for multiple hours already, unless they have a great rice cooker that can maintain the rice's moisture and softness. Enough of the random rant! Hahaha! Thank you so much for stopping by and joining us with our meals! We will see you on our next food trip! :D
